Rey Santo Verdejo

Made of Verdejo 100%


Grape Variety: Verdejo (100 %)
Apellation: D.O. Rueda
Cultivation method: Treselles vines
Grape Harvest: Mechanical. 2nd week of September. Mechanical harvested at night.
Vinification: 10-15 years old.
Recommended serving temperature: Between 10ºC y 20ºC, with humidity at 75 -80% . Abrupt temperature change should be avoided. Keep for two years from purchasing date.
Analytics: 13 % by Volume
winemaking: Completely estate-grown, in our La Seca vineyards. Grapes selected at their moment of ripening are mechanical harvested at night to preserve oxidation. The must is extracted using an hydraulic press. Cooling controlled fermentation at <15 C for up to three weeks.
Food pairing: Serve in an ice bucket accompany with Pasta and Rice, Chicken and all types of Fish.

Tasting notes

Colour: Straw yellow colour with greenish highlights.
Nose: Intense varietal aromas. Many tropical and stone fruit with hints of citrus are released along with hints of fresh herbs and subtle notes of fennel Its tasty and fresh with juicy sensations.
Palate: Very good acidity and a good finish with a hint of bitterness, typical of the Verdejo.
